SUMMARY OF MEASURES THE PLSA IS ADOPTING IN ITS OFFICE TO HELP PREVENT THE SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS – INFORMATION FOR VISITORS

  • PLSA is committed to keeping its staff and visitors safe whilst in the office and has adopted the following measures to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.
  • If you are unwell you should not come into the office
  • If a member of your household has tested positive for covid please do not come into the office for the duration of that person’s isolation period If, whilst in the office, you develop covid symptoms (list of symptoms can be found here: NHS symptoms) you should notify the person in charge of the meeting, return home immediately and follow the guidance on self-isolation
  • If you contract coronavirus and think you contracted it around the time you were in our office please let the PLSA know so other people in attendance of the meeting can be informed (no names will be given)
  • Upon entering the building please observe the measures the building has put in place. Please note these measures are not under PLSA’s control and may be subject to change so please observe the signage in the main building entrance and lift areas
  • Please note that face masks are not a requirement in the office but should you feel more comfortable wearing a mask please do so
  • Please use the hand sanitiser provided upon entering and exiting the offic
  • Please regularly wash your hands thoroughly with water and soap, or use hand sanitiser
  • PLSA’s contracted professional cleaning company clean the offices each evening
  • The ventilation system in the office sucks clean air in and dirty air out, so although windows cannot be opened, the ventilation in the office is appropriate in helping to prevent the spread of coronavirus in that it doesn’t recirculate the air
  • Should you have any further questions about your visit to our office please get in contact with the PLSA person in charge of your meeting who will be able to help
