TERMS & CONDITIONS OF EVENT REGISTRATION

All Events

  • All invoices are payable within 30 days. Late payment of the invoice may result in the delegate's place being lost
  • Bookings made less than 30 days prior to an event need to be paid in full before the event commences. Failure to pay may result in the delegate not being able to gain access to the event
  • All bookings made using a member rate are based on the organisation having fully paid membership at the time of the event. If membership subscriptions are not paid, the non-member fee will be charged
  • Individual registrations are unique to an individual and cannot be shared
  • The organisation ticket at ESG Conference 2022 entitles the purchasing organisation to unlimited registrations. Registrations are restricted to the purchasing organisation and cannot be shared with partner companies or affiliates. Organisation tickets are non-refundable. Any person registering under the organisation ticket category is subject to the same terms and conditions as an individual registration.
  • The organisation ticket at Annual Conference 2022 and Investment Conference 2022 entitles the purchasing organisation to up to five registrations. Registrations are restricted to the purchasing organisation and cannot be shared with partner companies or affiliates. Organisation tickets are non-refundable. Any person registering under the organisation ticket category is subject to the same terms and conditions as an individual registration.
  • By registering for an event you consent to sharing your professional details with the event’s sponsors for the purpose of contacting you in relation to that event only.   • The details you have provided during registration will be used to create an account that will entitle you access to the digital event platform and the attendees' list to network before, during and after the event.   • Attendees of digital events must abide by our Code of Conduct for digital events. Please view that Code of Conduct here.
  • The PLSA reserves the right to alter the programme, speakers or dates at any time, without notice. If for any reason the event is cancelled or does not take place we shall endeavour to reschedule. If the event cannot be rescheduled or be held digitally (on the same date), the PLSA will refund you for the cost of the booking. PLSA will have no liability to you for any alterations and no further liability for cancellations and you will indemnify us and hold us harmless from and against any costs, damages and expenses, including legal fees, that you incur. 
  • If a face-to-face event cannot take place as planned due to any law or any action taken by a government or public authority including (without limitation) any restrictions or rules introduced by a government, the event will still take place, but will do so in a digital format and your registration will apply to the converted digital event and any difference in fees will be refunded.  If there is not sufficient time for the digital event to run on the same date(s) as the original planned event, an alternative date(s) to run the event, either face-to-face or digital will be sought and you will be registered for such alternative date(s), with a refund available if you cannot make the alternative date. The PLSA will have no further liability to you in respect of the event in such circumstances.
  • VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate
  • All cancellations must be notified in writing

CONFERENCES

ESG CONFERENCE 2022

  • Cancellation received before 18 February; fee refunded
  • Cancellation received on or after 18 February; no refund
  • Organisation tickets; no refunds

INVESTMENT CONFERENCE 2022

  • Cancellation of paid for places received on or before 26 April (4 weeks prior to the event start date); fee refunded
  • If a paid for place is cancelled less than 4 weeks prior to the event start date, or if the delegate does not attend the event; no refund
  • For cancellation of free places received 4 weeks or less from the event start date will be subject to a cancellation charge of £450 + VAT. This is to take account for certain costs associated with the registration, e.g. catering and administration charges. We thank you for your understanding.

Investment Conference 2022 Fund Member Prize Draw

  • The fund member prize draw (the "Prize Draw") is open to PLSA fund members booking a place at the PLSA Investment Conference 2022 on or before 25 March 2022.
  • The closing date of the Prize Draw is 23:59 on 25 March 2022.  Entries received outside this time period will not be considered.
  • Five winners will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will take place on 28 March 2022, the winner will be notified by email.
  • Employees of the PLSA or their family members, or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw may not enter the Prize Draw.
  • One entry per person.
  • The winner will receive a 3-night complimentary hotel stay at the Voco Edinburgh, Haymarket Tuesday 24 May 2022, checking out Friday 27 May 2022.
  • The prize includes the hotel room and breakfast with single occupation; the winner will be responsible for all additional costs.
  • The prize includes first-class rail travel; the winner will be responsible for all additional costs. Please note that travel must be confirmed by 8 April.
  • Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
  • The total value of this prize draw must not exceed £800.  No cash alternative will be made; however, the prize is transferable to another person within your organisation.

LOCAL AUTHORITY CONFERENCE 2022

  • Cancellation of paid for places received on or before 13 May (4 weeks prior to the event start date); fee refunded
  • If a paid for place is cancelled less than 4 weeks prior to the event start date, or if the delegate does not attend the event; no refund
  • For cancellation of free places received 4 weeks or less from the event start date will be subject to a cancellation charge of £450 + VAT. This is to take account for certain costs associated with the registration, e.g. catering and administration charges. We thank you for your understanding.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2022

  • Cancellation of paid for places received on or before 13 September (4 weeks prior to the event start date); fee refunded
  • If a paid for place is cancelled less than 4 weeks prior to the event start date, or if the delegate does not attend the event; no refund
  • For cancellation of free places received 4 weeks or less from the event start date will be subject to a cancellation charge of £450 + VAT. This is to take account for certain costs associated with the registration, e.g. catering and administration charges. We thank you for your understanding. 

TRAINING COURSES

  • Cancellation received more than two weeks prior to the start date of the training course; fee refunded
  • Cancellation received less than two weeks prior to the start date of the training course; no refund
  • The PLSA cannot transfer you to another date if you are unable to attend the training course
