TERMS & CONDITIONS OF EVENT REGISTRATION

All Events

  • All cancellations must be notified in writing
  • All invoices are payable within 30 days. Late payment of the invoice may result in the delegate's place being lost
  • Bookings made less than 30 days prior to an event need to be paid in full before the event commences. Failure to pay may result in the delegate not being able to gain access to the event
  • All bookings made using a member rate are based on the organisation having fully paid membership at the time of the event. If membership subscriptions are not paid, the non-member fee will be charged
  • Registrations are unique to an individual and cannot be shared
  • By registering for an event you consent to sharing your professional details with the event’s exhibitors and sponsors for the purpose of contacting you in relation to that event only. You can opt out of their mailing groups at any time. Please take a look at our privacy notice here. Contact Nikolina Hudi on 020 7601 1710 if you do not consent to your details being shared
  • The PLSA reserves the right to alter the programme, speakers, dates or venue at any time, without notice. Should for any reason the venue change or the event be cancelled due to an act of terrorism, extreme weather, disease control, industrial action, act of God or any eventuality beyond the control of the PLSA, we shall endeavour to reschedule; but the client hereby indemnifies the PLSA and holds the PLSA harmless from and against any costs, damages and expenses, including legal fees, incurred by the client VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate

 

CONFERENCES

ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2020

  • Cancellation of paid for places received on or before Friday 2 October 2020; fee refunded
  • If a paid for place is cancelled after Friday 2 October 2020, or if the delegate does not attend the event; no refund

INVESTMENT CONFERENCE 2021

  • Cancellation of paid places received on or before Friday 19 February 2021; fee refunded
  • If a paid for place is cancelled after Friday 19 February 2021, or if the delegate does not attend; no refund

LOCAL AUTHORITY CONFERENCE 2021

  • Cancellation of places received on or before Friday 30 April 2021; fee refunded
  • If a place is cancelled after Friday 30 April 2021 or the delegate does not attend; no refund. PLSA are committed to certain costs associated with the registration in advance of the event, such as catering and accommodation, which cannot be recovered. Thank you for your understanding

LOCAL AUTHORITY UPDATE 2020

  • Cancellation of paid for places received more than 2 weeks prior to the event start date; full refund
  • If a paid for place is cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to the event start date, or if the delegate does not attend the event; no refund

TRUSTEE CONFERENCE 2020

  • Cancellation of paid for places received on or before Friday 4 December 2020; full refund
  • If a paid for place is cancelled after Friday 4 December 2020, or if the delegate does not attend the event; no refund

TECH CONFERENCE 2020

  • Cancellation of paid for places received on or before Friday 13 November 2020; full refund
  • If a paid for place is cancelled after Friday 13 November 2020, or if the delegate does not attend the event; no refund

TRAINING COURSES

  • Cancellation received more than one month prior to the start date of the training course; fee refunded
  • Cancellation received less than one month prior to the start date of the training course; no refund
  • The PLSA cannot transfer you to another date if you are unable to attend the training course
