Pension sharing charges: Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association guidance

Pension Sharing on Divorce Guidance

Pension sharing

The Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association has updated its Pension Sharing on Divorce Guidance, which is produced to support private sector occupational pension schemes when providing information for pension sharing orders. It includes a recommended range of charges as well as a flowchart outlining the circumstances when charges can be made.

Please note that the guidance is meant to be used as a guide only, and charges may vary contingent on the specific circumstances of each member.

Updates to the guidance were informed by industry feedback following a survey conducted by the PLSA between April and May of 2023. The results of the recent survey can be found here.
