LGPS governance discussion paper: the NAPF’s response
NAPF has responded to the Government’s discussion paper on changes to the LGPS governance structure.
The Government’s proposals concerning the optimal governance structure remains unclear.
In this response we suggest that an effort to combine the job of the statutory committees with that of the pensions boards would be counterproductive, and urge the Government to reconsider its opposition to shared pension boards.
