Guidance on governance and reporting of climate-related risks and opportunities, and a new appendix to TPR’s monetary penalties policy

The Pensions Regulator have consulted on draft guidance setting out their expectations on the new Taskforce for Climate Related Financial Disclosures, which the Pensions Schemes Act make compulsory for larger schemes.

The PLSA welcomes the publication of this guidance. Overall, we believe that the draft guidance strikes the right balance between encouraging ambitious governance standards and acknowledging the many challenges schemes face.
