Following extensive consultation, these revised GIPS Standards were approved by the GIPS Executive Committee on 29 January 2010, effective from 1 January 2011. The Standards are based on fundamental principles of full disclosure and fair representation of investment performance results.  Global standardisation provides investors world-wide with the means to compare and evaluate investment manager performance.
