Pensions Regulator's Education Drive for 2012 - NAPF Comment
17 May 2011, Press Release
Commenting on the education campaign launched by the Pensions Regulator today to help employers implement the 2012 pensions auto-enrolment reforms, Joanne Segars, Chief Executive at the National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF), said:
“Employers and pension schemes urgently need certainty to adapt to the new rules. The TPR’s campaign is a first step.
“With the 2012 reforms coming into effect very soon, employers and pension schemes have little time to implement the changes required. They need all the support they can get if they are to apply these reforms successfully.
“It is vital that the Government and the Regulator use every single opportunity to provide that. The success of these pivotal reforms depends on that.”
