He will work on a variety of corporate governance issues, including the NAPF position on Government policies, the promotion of take up of the Stewardship Code among pension funds, and shareholder engagement. He will report to David Paterson, NAPF Head of Corporate Governance, in the role of Policy Lead: Corporate Governance.
Joanne Segars, NAPF Chief Executive, said:
“We are delighted that Will has joined us at a time when a lot of change is taking place in corporate governance. He is bringing valuable experience and insights to the NAPF, and will help take this important activity forward.”
Will Pomroy added:
“I am pleased to be joining the NAPF. These are exciting times in corporate governance, and I look forward to working on an increasingly busy agenda.”
