National Association of Pension Funds appoints Graham Vidler as Director of External Affairs

Graham VidlerThe National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF) has appointed Graham Vidler as Director of External Affairs.

Graham joins the organisation from NEST (National Employment Savings Trust), where he was Director of Communications and Engagement. Before joining NEST, Graham worked on pensions from a variety of perspectives as a researcher at the House of Commons, Policy Adviser for the Association of British Insurers, Head of Policy at Which? and Head of Marketing at Norwich Union Life.  

Joanne Segars, Chief Executive, NAPF, said: “I am delighted Graham is joining the NAPF at this important time for the pensions industry. His expertise and enthusiasm for pensions matches our own priorities and those of our members. He will be a great asset to the NAPF.”

Graham Vidler added: “It’s been a great five years at NEST and I’m hugely proud to have played a role in the creation of a major new pension scheme. I’m delighted to now be joining the NAPF; they have a central role to play in enabling workplace pensions to flourish and I’m looking forward to contributing to their continued success.”

Graham will begin his new role in late spring. He will be responsible for leading the NAPF’s external affairs activity including policy, research, media and parliamentary affairs.
