Introduction to Trusteeship - Part 1: The Theory (IT1711)

This course is the first of two 1-day courses which together provide an introduction to the role of a pension scheme trustee. If you are new to trusteeship or thinking about becoming a pension scheme trustee this course is right for you. Learn the theory of pension scheme trusteeship, including what is expected from trustees and how to apply good scheme governance.

Local Authority Forum (LA1711)

This year's LA Forum takes place at the PLSA's offices at Cheapside House on 07 November. The PLSA's Local Authority events are the largest gatherings of Local Authority pensions managers and experts.

The environment in which local government pension schemes operate has changed almost beyond recognition in recent years.  This year’s Forum takes place at a critical time, with MiFID II implementation in January 2018, the April deadline for pooling looming, and increased regulatory focus on value for money. Bringing together policymakers, regulators and industry experts, we explore how local authority pension schemes can respond to these challenges as well as take advantage of the latest industry and investment developments.



 

Understanding Investments Virtual Training (VTUI1711)

Investment Conference 2018 (IV18)
