NAPF Budget Submission 2014
The Government’s pension reform programme – built on auto-enrolment and a single tier state pension – has the opportunity to make a lasting difference to the lives of millions of British citizens by significantly improving their standards of living in retirement. However, there is more the Government must now do to support trustees and scheme sponsors running pension schemes and the people saving in those schemes.
The Government should use the Budget in March 2014 to consolidate its reforms and to build on these successes by creating a strong and stable environment for pension provision. The NAPF submitted our Budget proposals in February 2014
