Head of Pensions, Heathrow Airport Holdings
Chris has been working in occupational pensions since 1982 and has held a series of senior management positions in both the public and private sector. He has been Head of Pensions for Heathrow (previously the British Airports Authority) since 2010.
A Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute, in 2018 he was re-elected for a second 5 year term to the Institute’s Council. In addition, Chris chairs the PMI Trustee Group, sits on the Institute’s Development Committee and in 2018 was presented with the ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Pensions Management Institute Award’. He is also an Advisory Council member of the European arm of the Association of Investment Managers Sales Executives (‘AIMSE Europe’) and a Pensions Committee member of the 100 Group (which represents the views of Finance Directors of the UKs largest employers).
Chris is a previous winner of the Engaged Investor ‘Pensions Manager of the Year' award (2011 and 2014) and regularly acts as a judge for a number of industry awards.
